Cru Lounge 04.03.2018

Following my workout, I decided to hit the town and try out my USB batteries in my LED light. I learned that dead batteries can really ruin a shot. I try to avoid using the on-camera flash at all costs if possible.

My first stop was a really nice hookah spot called Cru Lounge. I am no real fan of smoke, being that my dad, Howard Love, passed away from pulmonary fibrosis. Yet, there are plenty of people at hookah lounges and I was in the mood to meet new people. The discreet venue is directly across from Ponce City Market. The vibe is really laid back and they feature a deejay on Tuesday nights. Hookahs are around $27.

While cozy, everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was laid back with a wide age range from 21 through maybe 38. It closes early- 1 AM- so I took only a few shots just to get more low light experience.

Enjoy my shots.
