Last Thursday, I decided to step out and network a little more following Green Lit ATL. I found a posh lounge called El Malo on Memorial Drive. While it was slightly confusing to find the front door, it was worth looking for!
An Upscale Vibe:
The decor of this spot felt like a modern 70s to me for some reason, but that’s not to say it’s outdated. I just enjoyed the Mexican-inspired arches and other architecture. It was already past 11 PM when I arrived,so the lights were dim and the elevated music did not disappoint. Both deejays were locked in and it seemed like they truly enjoyed they job!
Conclusion:
El Malo on a Thursday night was not overpacked like sardines and a great vibe if you truly want to lounge and chit chat in a swanky and chic atmphosphere. I’m surely other weekends are packed!
