Since my camera equipment was stolen, I’ve really been in a bit of a funk about shooting still photos. The Atlanta Actors Collective changed that in a single phone call! They wanted me to shoot their event, The Winner’s Circle. They were impressed with my previous photos and decided to use me this go ’round. Who could refuse such an offer?
What is the Atlanta Actors Collective?
The Atlanta Actors Collective is a group formed to unite, inform and elevate the talent pool in Atlanta as well as all other regions in the country. They strive to develop events and classes for actors and creatives in the southeast region of the US that helps, educates and builds creative community within.
The Pressure Was On!
I technically no longer have a full frame or mirrorless camera anymore since the theft. I decided it was time to test out other Sony mirrorless cameras, so I went with the A7C with a Sony G Master 24-105mm zoom lens. I reviewed my previous shots and realized that they have a step & repeat. Does that mean I need to bring lights? YES!! I brought a couple of Aputure Amarans with Lightbox II diffusers and that did the trick.
