So I decided to get into the industry mix and check out Jermaine Dupri’s Private Birthday Affair at Traffik, formerly Truth Lounge on 1100 Crescent Ave NE. One of my crewmates on set put me on, and he hooked me up w/ the T.I/Teyana Taylor joint before, so he be on point. I got there and decided to snack on some burgers. I also snapped a few photos- that is until a woman named Sue pulled me aside and explained that I can’t be willy-nilly snapping photos of folks, because they have a paid photographer. I saw Alex of AG Entertainment, but he didn’t recognize me. In his defense, we never met, so all is forgiven! LOL! So here are a couple of photos from the spot. It was an okay time, but I left before Jermaine Dupri ever showed up and the deejay definitely showed his age, but I don’t think I heard a single record produced by JD. Nonetheless, it was an okay time and Sue asked me to stay tuned for Traffik’s happy hour on Fridays. I’ll likely check it out.
